Academic Achievement
Kappa Chi strives to excel academically. We have numerously received awards for highest GPA in the state as well as highest GPA in the nation! To make sure our members are staying on top of their studies, we have an academic point system.
Predetermined point values are as follows:
A on Tests/Essays: 3 points
B on Tests/Essays: 2 points
Meeting with a Professor: 5 points
Study Hours: 1 point per hour studied
Going to the Tutoring Center: 5 points
Being tutored by a ZTA: 3 points
Tutoring a ZTA: 5 points
Annual Professor Review forum: 2 points
Attending ZTA Study Hall: 5 points
A member in good standing must earn 15 Academic Points per month. If a member falls
below the required GPA minimum of a 2.8, she will be expected to earn 30
Academic Points per month.
